Project Highlights

• Successfully managed construction on a constrained zero-lot-line urban infill site adjacent to an active Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) campus.

• Coordinated closely with LAUSD officials and implemented temporary power solutions and carefully sequenced construction activities to minimize disruption during peak student hours while maintaining project schedule and safety.

• Managed complex utility coordination with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (DWP) and other utility providers.

• Managed an approximate $9.5 million construction hard cost.

• Successfully completed construction in August 2026.

Construction Approach

LT Building Corp served as General Contractor for the Mar Vista Storage development, overseeing all phases of construction from site preparation through project completion. The team managed construction operations, scheduling, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and site logistics throughout the project.

Construction on the constrained zero-lot-line urban infill site required extensive coordination with neighboring stakeholders and utility providers. Located adjacent to an active LAUSD campus, the project required temporary power solutions, continuous communication with school officials, and carefully sequenced construction activities to minimize disruption during peak student hours. LT also coordinated complex utility requirements with DWP and other providers while maintaining project safety, schedule, and quality through completion.
