Project Overview
As part of the landmark Burbank transit-oriented development, LT Building Corp is constructing a 37,000-square-foot public transit plaza designed to create a seamless pedestrian connection between the Magnolia Street Overpass and the adjacent Metrolink Station.
The highly visible public infrastructure project enhances accessibility, supports multimodal transportation, and serves as a key connection between Downtown Burbank and regional transit.

Project Highlights
Constructing a 37,000-square-foot public transit plaza connecting the Magnolia Street Overpass with the adjacent Metrolink Station.
Constructing two ADA-accessible public elevators to provide a direct connection between the Magnolia Street Overpass and the Metrolink pedestrian crossing below.
Installing extensive hardscape, landscaping, fencing, and site amenities to create an attractive and functional public gathering and circulation space.
Navigating complex site conditions, including existing underground oil pipelines and other utility conflicts.
Engineering and executing the structural connection to the existing Magnolia Street Overpass, one of the project's most technically challenging components.
Delivering a public infrastructure asset that will ultimately be owned by the City of Burbank and maintained by the developer in perpetuity.

Construction Approach
LT Building Corp is serving as General Contractor for construction of the public transit plaza, managing complex structural, civil, site development, and infrastructure work while coordinating construction around existing site conditions.
The project requires careful planning and execution due to existing underground oil infrastructure, utility conflicts, and the structural connection to the existing Magnolia Street Overpass. LT is coordinating these conditions while constructing two ADA-accessible elevators and extensive hardscape, landscape, fencing, and site improvements to create the connection between the overpass and Metrolink Station.
