William Leahy founded LT Building Corp. after more than two decades of leading construction organizations, building high-performing teams, and delivering complex projects throughout the United States. His vision was simple: create a company where integrity, quality, accountability, and relationships would always come first—and where talented people would be empowered to do their best work every day.

As Founder and Chief Executive Officer, William provides the strategic leadership that guides LT Building Corp.'s continued growth while remaining actively involved in construction operations, client relationships, and mentoring the next generation of industry leaders. He believes the strongest companies are built the same way as the strongest projects—with a solid foundation, exceptional people, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Throughout his career, William has overseen more than $2 billion in multifamily, mixed-use, self-storage, build-to-rent, commercial, adaptive reuse, and site development projects across the United States. His experience spans every phase of development, from entitlement and preconstruction through construction, project turnover, and long-term operational success. Before founding LT Building Corp., William held executive leadership positions with nationally recognized organizations including LaTerra Development, Wood Partners, and The Picerne Group, where he led construction operations, built self-perform divisions, developed operational systems, and assembled high-performing teams across multiple states.

LT Building Corp. continues to share a strong strategic relationship with LaTerra Development, which partnered with William in establishing the company. Today, the two independently operated companies collaborate on select opportunities, drawing upon their shared history and complementary expertise.

What truly defines William, however, isn't the size of the projects he's led—it's the way he leads people. Those who work alongside him know him for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and willingness to tackle challenges head-on. He believes leadership is earned through consistency, preparation, and setting the example, whether meeting with clients, walking a jobsite, or helping a team member solve a difficult problem.

Outside of work, William enjoys traveling, discovering exceptional restaurants, sharing a great bottle of wine with family and friends, and seeking out new adventures. An outdoorsman at heart, weekends often find him exploring the desert in his Can-Am, embracing the same spirit of adventure and determination that has shaped his career. Above all, he values time with his family and believes the greatest accomplishments in life extend far beyond the workplace.
