Mark Medrano
Project Manager
Mark Medrano is a Project Manager with more than eight years of experience managing commercial, multifamily, healthcare, infrastructure, and self-storage developments throughout California. Since joining LT Building Corp. in 2023, he has helped deliver complex projects through careful planning, analytical thinking, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
Construction has always appealed to Mark because he enjoys building things and understanding how they work. He recognizes that no two projects—or project teams—operate exactly the same and believes being adaptable, communicating well, and understanding the strengths of the people around him are essential to keeping a project moving forward.
Among the projects he has managed, the Long Beach and Dana Point self-storage developments have been especially rewarding. Their complexity has challenged Mark and his teams to overcome obstacles, improve processes, and find solutions that have helped drive successful project outcomes, including delivering ahead of schedule.
Before entering construction, Mark served as an EMT in 911 emergency response, an experience he considers one of his proudest accomplishments. Helping people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives taught him to remain calm under pressure, work as part of a team, and step forward when others are counting on him—lessons that continue to influence the way he approaches his work today.
What Mark appreciates most about LT Building Corp. is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. He values being part of a team where people can take ownership, contribute ideas, learn from one another, and play a role in shaping the company’s future.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys golfing, spending time with loved ones, and working on cars. He once dreamed of becoming a firefighter and remains passionate about continually challenging himself to grow both personally and professionally. One of his favorite pieces of advice reflects that mindset: “Don’t wish it were easier. Wish you were better.”
And while Mark takes his work seriously, there’s one place you may find him considerably less serious: karaoke night—despite being the first to admit he’s a terrible singer with an even worse memory.
