With more than 25 years of experience in engineering, design, and construction management, Angela Hernandez brings a strong technical background and practical approach to her role as Project Manager at LT Building Corp. Since joining the company in 2021, she has helped guide projects through complex challenges while keeping teams focused on successful project delivery.

Curiosity first drew Angela to construction, but problem-solving became one of her greatest strengths. Her experience spans multifamily, mixed-use, self-storage, commercial, and infrastructure projects, while her background in architectural and structural engineering gives her a unique perspective when working through the technical and practical challenges that arise during construction.

What Angela enjoys most about her work is being part of a team working toward a common goal. For her, one of the most rewarding moments is turning over a finished building and being able to look at it and say, “I helped build that.”

One of Angela’s favorite projects was Alta 301, where she was involved from the beginning through nearly the entire construction process. She also credits the 7617 Santa Monica Boulevard project with teaching her valuable lessons about working with challenging personalities—experience that continues to influence the way she communicates and manages projects today.

What Angela appreciates most about LT Building Corp. is the camaraderie and willingness of people to help one another without judgment. She describes the culture simply as “Camaraderie, work hard and play hard.”

Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, watching baseball, fishing, traveling, and going to Dodgers games. She is especially passionate about her Catholic faith and the Dodgers, and her family is what she is most proud of outside of her career.

Feisty, competent, and steadfast are the three words Angela says her family and friends would use to describe her. And one thing that might surprise those who know the problem-solving construction professional is that her favorite movie is Pride & Prejudice (2005).

Her favorite piece of advice is one she strives to live by: “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?”
